Formatta® provides all of the tools and functionality required to meet the ever increasing demands of the Information Age for forms design and data collection.

Formatta consists of two end-user applications:  Formatta Designer used for designing forms and Formatta Filler for filling out these forms.  Filler is freely available on Formatta's website and other partner sites. Formatta Filler for the Mac is now also available to accommodate the form needs of Mac users.

In concert with Designer and Filler, Formatta offers form processing automation solutions for companies of all sizes. Small and medium-sized businesses benefit from Formatta E-Forms Manager, a forms repository management application featuring a graphical user interface (GUI) for managing e-forms – including automated data extraction – without requiring programming skills. E-Forms Manager helps smaller companies overcome the hurdles traditionally found in automating e-forms, eliminating the need for costly programmers to deploy and maintain the system.

For enterprise-class architecture, Formatta Server allows a business to automate every facet of form processing. Formatta Server works with your existing database and website for XML output, imaging, pre-filled forms, encryption and much more.

With Formatta Filler and freely distributable portable form files (PFF), now anyone can fill out forms, save, route, print, email, post to a website or use on a local area network.  As forms are filled, they can be automatically validated by the form itself, eliminating incorrect entries and improving the accuracy of data collection.

Formatta Filler for the Mac is a freely downloadable and distributable e-forms application that allows end users to fill, save, encrypt/decrypt, email and print their electronic forms for any data collection needs. PC users can freely exchange PFF files with Mac users, and both can submit completed forms to Formatta Server for automated processing.

In addition, Formatta's innovative client-side encryption technology allows Filler users to securely encrypt their data (and form attachments) before sending forms via the Internet.   Using a combination of several encryption techniques allows form authors and form fillers to use different passwords, unknown to one another.
